After being stuck for more than two weeks, a boat was finally removed from a jetty in Orange Beach on Friday.
Hundreds of people watched from the beach as a barge with a crane lifted the boat from the water, revealing several holes on the bottom of the boat.
The boat had been stuck since June 13.
The boat’s operator, identified as Stephen Hallum, was charged with public intoxication.
Hallum was unable to get the boat removed himself, so the city contracted out the job.
