Police: Woman with BAC almost 3 times legal limit causes crash

DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) – Daphne Police say a woman with a blood alcohol content almost three times the legal limit caused a crash during evening rush hour Wednesday. Investigators say 67-year old Wendy Turner had a BAC of .23%. The legal limit in Alabama is .08%. 

Police say the Turner was at fault for the crash on Highway 98, near Foosackly’s. Three vehicles were involved.  A passenger in one of the vehicles involved had a minor knee injury but was not taken to the hospital.

Turner was booked into the Daphne City Jail.
