Police: Woman held against her will in AL/FL human trafficking case

ROBERTSDALE — A Florida man is in the Baldwin County Jail charged with kidnapping and human trafficking.

22-year-old Tee-Henry Wulu Currens from Orange Park, Florida was arrested over the weekend by Robertsdale Police after they got a call from a woman at a local gas station. She claimed she had been kidnapped from Jacksonville, Florida.  

Investigators believe the woman had been held against her will for some time. Currens and the alleged victim were en route from Jacksonville to Mobile.

Federal authorities have been asked to join the investigation.
