FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — Police say someone fired a gun into a home just feet away from a child.

According to Fairhope Police, it happened Monday night at a home on Kirkman Lane. A woman who lives there says she was on her sofa when she heard a noise in her bathroom, where her 7-year-old was showering.

Witnesses told police they saw two men arguing outside right before the shot.
