UPDATE: Police identify man dead, woman injured in Foley

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) —

UPDATE (1:35 p.m.) — Foley Police identify the man who died as a James Doyle. The woman stabbed is Linda Doyle. Foley Police say Linda called 911 after a fight with her husband. Police say when officers arrived, both were found lying on the floor of the home. Both were had been injured in the fight. Linda was stabbed and airlifted to University Hospital. James died from a gunshot wound.

Foley Police continue to investigate the incident. No arrests have been made at this time, according to FPD. If you have any information about this couple or this incident please contact the Foley Police Department at 251-943-4431.

ORIGINAL STORY: Foley Police were called to a domestic disturbance around 10 p.m. Tuesday night to a home on Colorado Court in River Trace.

Police say one man is dead from a gunshot wound and a woman was airlifted with a stab wound to University Hospital.

Police say there are no charges at this time. Police continue to investigate.
