VIDEO: New anonymous commenting app trending with teens, causing bullying concerns

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — It’s an app that lets you comment anonymously on your friend’s photos, and lets them do the same to you.

It’s called YOLO and it’s the number one app in the Apple app store right now.

When we asked a group of Baldwin County High School students how many people use it, they responded with a resounding “everyone,” in unison.

We got wind of YOLO when Officer Bunky Bishop, who works as a school resource officer at Fairhope Middle School, posted on Facebook about it. He said he heard about the app from a mom who said people were saying things that made her daughter uncomfortable.

The app connects to Snapchat, and lets your friends make comments on your photos – but here’s the catch, your name doesn’t show up in the comments, and there’s no way to find out who left them.
