The collision happened near the 17-mile marker,
Witnesses say the motorcyclist was headed west when the debris truck pulled out onto Fort Morgan Road. The motorcycle collided with the rear wheel area of that truck.
Kyle Gardner and Gage Ray were part of a cleaning crew at a nearby church, heard the crash and went running to help. “He was moving pretty well, for the most part, but what was concerning me was his eye,” says Gardner. “The debris truck didn’t even know it happened,” added Ray. “He got off the pavement and he got out and noticed the guy was there.”
The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt but certainly shaken up by the crash. No word yet on the extent of the injuries to the motorcyclist.
