“Mark Your Calendar” – Read Local Campaign

Welcome to WKRG’s “Mark Your Calendar” for Thursday, October 25th, 2018.  Today, John Nodar welcomes Suzanne Hudson & Joe Formichella to talk about the “Read Local” campaign commemorating the Alabama 200 Bicentennial, featuring Baldwin County and benefiting the Baldwin County Library Co-operative’s book courier program.

There will be live music from some of the world-class entertainers from our area including, CHRIS CLIFTON, GOVE SCRIVENOR and LARRY T. WILSON.


We will be talking about three books from one county:


“The Poet of Tolstoy Park” by Sonny Brewer

“V for Victor” by Mark Childress

“Waffle House Rules” by Joe Formichella

The ‘READ LOCAL” campaign is happening over the course of three days and in three separate locations.
