GULF SHORES, Ala. (WKRG) —  A man has died days after being pulled from the water Saturday, September 1st.

He was pulled from the water showing no signs of life and was taken to South Baldwin Medical where doctors found a heartbeat.

On Saturday around 8:00 p.m. he received a CT scan. Sunday he was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at South Baldwin Medical Center.

Gulf Shores Fire Rescue tells News 5 the man passed away Monday afternoon. His identity has not been released.

Red flags were up Friday and Saturday warning individuals of the water conditions.
