FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — Members of Fairhope’s Police department are putting a focus on safer driving in the new year. Saturday morning a post on FPD’s Facebook page said “There were 856 reported vehicle accidents within our city limits in 2020. Let’s have a safer 2021, Fairhope.
Slow down and stay focused on driving!”

The post ended with the hashtag “The Road is no place to socialize” and shared an infographic listing different ways drivers can become distracted behind the wheel.
