Daphne police catch three accused gun thieves in the act

DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) — Three people have been arrested after a Daphne police officer caught them entering a parked car inside a subdivision. Police say they had stolen guns and other property. According to the Daphne Police Department, an officer found a suspicious car in the Old Field neighborhood Wednesday morning around 2 a.m. Investigators say the three suspects traveled to the subdivision in a stolen car. The car was stolen from the same area a few days ago. Stolen property was recovered from inside the car, including two stolen guns and electronics. 

Carmichael Longmire, Michaela Conner, and Luki Orozco, all of Mobile, were taken into custody. Longmire and Conner were both on bond for several charges out of Mobile. All three have been charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, recieving stolen property (first-degree) and giving a false name to law enforcement.
