DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) — When students head back to class at Daphne Elementary next week, they’ll see some welcome changes!
Swift Supply and several construction partners donated their time and resources to make some big improvements to the recess area over the summer break.
There had been an old and damaged gazebo in the recess area. But in came the bulldozers, and now the area is much safer.
There’s also a lot more shade — crews built a pergola to help keep kids cool while on recess.
Swift Supply partnered with Clark Construction Homes, Randy McCoy Construction, and Lawns and Order for the project.
