GULF SHORES, Ala. (WKRG) — The City of Gulf Shores would like to make all residents and visitors aware that no dogs or animals are allowed on any of the public sand beaches or at any part of the public beach accesses, including the newly renovated Gulf Place, as in the Code of Ordinances – Section 6-8.
Beach Inspectors regularly patrol the public beaches and public beach accesses and will enforce all beach safety rules, including no dogs or animals allowed on any public beach area.
Visitors renting a vacation home or condominium, or staying at any accommodation within the City of Gulf Shores should contact the property management organization or homeowner for additional information related to rules and regulations of the private beach area associated with the location.
As an alternative, the Gulf Shores Dog Park and Dog Pond at Lake Shelby offers the perfect location to enjoy a day outside with your pet.
