According to jail records, Tyson remains behind bars without bond on a fugitive warrant out of Florida.
FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — The man accused of leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase across the Gulf Coast is due in court Friday afternoon for a bond hearing.
John Tyson, 46, was being held without bond Friday morning on several felonies relating to Wednesday night’s chase that began in Foley, crossed into Florida, then ended back in Baldwin County.
Tyson is charged with three counts of felony attempted assault and one count of felony criminal mischief. He’s also facing misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and attempting to elude.
In his jail booking photo, Tyson has several cuts on his face.
During the chase, part of which was captured on police dash cam, Tyson is accused of intentionally ramming several police cars.
