BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Nearly 20 years ago, in March of 2000, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body from Styx River in the Seminole community. Authorities say they found the body in the river just south of the Highway 90 bridge.
Authorities describe the body as an Asian or Native American who was about 47 to 53 years old. He would be between 66 and 72 today. He was about 5’6″, with dark hair and a goatee. He had several tattoos on his body, which the Sheriff’s Office hopes will help identify who the person was.
Anyone who may recognize the tattoos, or the person they belonged to, should contact the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office does not believe foul play was involved in the man’s death.
