FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — Hundreds gathered at the home of Jeanna and Rodney Pilot last night in Fairhope to raise money for a life-saving saving cause, The American Heart Association. The Pilots hosted The Baldwin Art For Heart Gala at The Old Barn at Chapel Farm.

Participants enjoyed live music, delicious food, and bid on silent and live auction items at the exquisite venue. WKRG sponsored the event and Rose Ann Haven served as co-emcee and auctioneer with Kevin Corcoran, a long time supporter of The American Heart Association.

Tickets sold out for the event and plans are underway for next year’s Art For Heart.  The event exceeded their goal of $235,000 and raised $287,000, according to Evan Duffy with the American Heart Association.
