
Debbie Williams in an award-winning reporter for WKRG, covering stories in Baldwin County out of News 5’s Foley newsroom.
A native Alabamian with roots in Coffee County, Debbie was a familiar voice for years at WLWI-FM in Montgomery where she was morning anchor and news director. From there, she went on to serve as news director and anchor at WHOA-TV. Next she was the Montgomery Bureau Chief for WBRC-TV in Birmingham and then on to WSFA-TV as weekend anchor and reporter.
Debbie is a graduate of Troy State University with a major in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Political Science and Music. She is the recipient of more than a dozen Associated Press and United Press International awards for excellence in journalism.
