
Cody Long joined WKRG News 5 in January 2018 and came here from North Mississippi.
Cody is originally from Rossville, Georgia, which is about 10 minutes south of Chattanooga, Tenn. He graduated from Georgia State University in Atlanta in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
After graduation, he worked as a reporter at WFXL FOX 31 in Albany, Georgia for two years before working at WTVA in Tupelo, Mississippi for two years.
While in Mississippi, Cody won a Southeast Regional Emmy Award for his live reporting after tornado damage in 2017.
