The shooting occurred just before 5:15 p.m. near the men’s Belk store after an alleged altercation. TPD says a 24-year-old who was involved in the incident was shot as well as a 15-year-old who was an innocent bystander.

City Council member Kip Tyner is calling the shooting evil and wants whoever pulled the trigger to be brought to justice.
