Rio Will Host The 2016 Summer Olympics

Chicago Tokyo The the International Olympic Committee chose Rio de Janeiro putting the games in South America for the first time.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - (AP) - The 2016 Olympics are going to Rio de Janeiro,
putting the games in South America for the first time.
Rio beat surprise finalist Madrid in the last round of voting.
Chicago was knocked out in the first round - in one of the most
shocking defeats ever handed down by the International Olympic
Committee - and Tokyo was eliminated in the second round.
Rio had played heavily on the fact that South America has never
previously hosted the games, while Europe, Asia and North America
have done so repeatedly. Now, only Africa and Antarctica remain as
continents that have not been awarded an Olympics.

i have a passport, but no way i will ever want to go there after what they did. the world summit for some ECO save the would treehugging fest a few years back. the police down there shot the homeless street children in the back of the head to clean up before the eyes of the world came to town. shot then on site as soon as they could. a sick counrty with sick people in it.

Hey ick-you can still go! Get a passport, go look at the pretty beaches and pretty people and not the ugly city and gangsta thugs! Probably less chance of being injured in Rio than Chicago anyway.

There will be an investigation by the Whitehouse. They will want a revote in Florida and let Boeing handle it!

I am not glad. We need the $ and I wanted to go. I’m just not surprised. I’m sure Rio will started popping all the street kids in the back of the head with a bullet, to get ready for it. Brazil has away with lowering the crime rate when the world’s eye comes to town.
