Nice Thanksgiving

November 25 2009
John Nodar Clearing skies will lead to a nice fall afternoon. High 68 under sunny skies with a light north breeze.

Two cold fronts are moving through our neighborhood...one this morning and another tomorrow. Tonight will be clear and chilly, with a low near 40.

Thanksgiving: beautiful. Sunny with a high in the low 60s. Enjoy!

Black Friday bargain hunters, we need to talk. Bundle up tight if you'll be lined up in front of the stores in the pre-dawn hours...thick coat, gloves, hat, scarf, the whole deal. Temps will drop to the mid 30s AND it'll be windy, too. When you arrive totally prepared, tell one of the shivering shoppers nearby that "John told me so!" Okay?

We'll warm to the low 60s in time for the Iron Bowl Friday afternoon. Saturday will be sunny with mid 60s, and Sunday will warm a few more degrees to the upper 60s. There's a slight chance--less than 20%--of showers late Sunday. A much better chance of rain and thunderstorms arrives with the next work week.
