Escambia County, Florida Emergency Management reports at least 60 structures in the Molino area were damaged today by what the National Weather Serivce is reporting as a tornado.Trees and power lines are down in the area as well.
Gulf Power says it could be after midnight before power is fully restored in the area.
A shelter is now open at Aldresgate Methodist Church on Highway 29 between Molino Road and Highway 97.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is also reporting storm damage.
Strong winds blew part of the roof off a home in the 9000 block of Chumuckla Springs Road and damaged a metal barn. A carport was also seperated from a home in the 2500 block of Howell Pit Road. Downed trees also damaged two cars there.
There have been NO reports of any injuries so far.
