Strong winds blew a tree over onto a mobile home in Thomasville. Renee Evans sent News 5 pictures of the damage. There is a hole in the roof of the trailer. The tree also broke a window. Evans says it scared her family real bad. But everyone is okay.

News 5 has has also confirmed reports of damage in Appleton, north of Brewton. Two structures, a barn and an out building, were destroyed. There are numerous downed trees and power lines. About a half-mile stretch of trees look like toothpicks after they were hit by either straight line winds or a tornado. A tree fell on lady's dog pin, injuring two dogs. There are also sporadic power/phone outages.
