Tornado Sirens, But No Tornadoes

Alabama Tornado  Tornado sirens sounded in south Mobile County but the National Weather Service says there was never a tornado in the area.

...THE MOBILE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS BEEN REQUESTED TO SEND
THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE BY THE MOBILE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
OFFICE.

THE EMERGENCY SIRENS WERE SOUNDED EARLIER OVER SOUTH MOBILE COUNTY
DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE WEATHER IN THAT AREA. NO SEVERE
STORMS HAVE BEEN REPORTED OR WARNINGS ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE IN MOBILE THIS AFTERNOON.
