MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Forecasters say a cold front moving intoAlabama likely will bring strong storms and the possibility of
tornadoes.
Forecasters say the main threats Wednesday are heavy rainfall,
damaging winds and flooding, but isolated tornadoes are possible.
Meteorologists in Mobile say strong southerly winds could
generate a high risk of rip currents along area beaches.
The system is expected spawn additional storms Thursday through
Saturday.
Residents are advised to stay alert for changing weather
conditions.
