Storm Dumped More Than Rain

The third straight night of severe weather brought more than wind and rain.

News 5 had several reports of hail, including West Mobile and Milton. Donna Jernigan sent us these photos of the pea-size hail in the Roeville area outside Milton.

Jernigan says the hail came down in Roeville just before 2:30 a.m. Our executive producer also reported pea-size hail on On Schillinger Road between Cottage Hill and Three Notch Road in West Mobile around 3:00 a.m.

Just curious did anyone see the ambulance that caught on fire and burnt up on Interstate 65 Friday afternoon between Moffett Road and Hwy 45???  The ambulance was a total loss but the crew was able to get the patient and passenger to safety.  Kudos to the quick thinking of the crew!!!
