Some people who live in Stockton in Baldwin County are worried about a rising river.A number of residents of the mobile home park at Lower Bryant Landing on the Tensaw River have already moved to higher ground.
The river is so high it has forced people who live in several dozen houseboats along the river to move out.
High water also forced the Brewers out of their mobile home.
Kris Brewer said the power was turned off to her mobile home because the water "got too close to the meter box and we had to move up the road a little bit. Water keeps rising, (it's) still coming in."
Kris' son, Logan Brewer, said, "The water started coming up around last week and it hadn't quit yet."
There's about six inches of water in the Brewer's patio dining area.
For now, the Brewers have moved to a vacant mobile home away from the river.
Across the road, Charles Stagner is still living in his mobile home, but the fast rising water flooded his car.
Stagner said, "It came up overnight about two foot it seemed like."
When asked what he was going to do with the car he said, "I think the man at the salvage yard would like to have it just for parts."
Its definitely been great weather for ducks and other creatures.
Kris Brewer said, "I'm terrified of snakes coming up, that's for sure, but I love it here, so we'll just make the best of it."
People who live in the park expect the water to rise even higher Friday, and some think they'll be out of their homes for about a week.
