LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Tens of thousands are still without
power in central Arkansas following a tornado that's left a path
downed trees and broken utility poles.
Yesterday's twister damaged areas of the central part of Little
Rock and moved into North Little Rock, where the airport has also
sustained damage to hangars and aircraft.
A utility spokesman says he isn't sure when power will be
restored. He says numerous power poles were broken by the high
winds and that numerous lines are down.
No deaths are being reported and authorities have not provided a
precise count on the extent of injuries.
