ATLANTA (AP) - The Southeastern Conference still is working on
the best way to issue refunds for the tournament.
The tournament was forced to move to Georgia Tech after a
tornado damaged the Georgia Dome when it swept through downtown
Atlanta Friday night.
The SEC no longer honored tickets for the final two days of the
tournament after the event moved.
Each team was given about 400 passes for each game. Some fans
who had tickets managed to gain entry through the passes, but many
others were unable to attend.
The SEC said fans will be notified of a refund process on the
conference Web site, SECsports.com, as well as the official
Internet sites of the 12 schools.
