The National Weather Service says the Thanksgiving Day storm damage in Milton was caused by straight line winds, not a tornado.A storm survey team estimates damage at $50,000.
Damage reports:
-Parkmore Plaza Laundry Mat: windows blown out
-Allstate Insurance in Milton: roof collapsed and windows blown out
-J & D Cleaners: air conditioner and compressor ripped out
-Hardees in Milton: roof damage
-On Board Skate Shop: roof damage
-Tires Inc.: vehicle in parking lot with windows blown out
-Burger King in Milton: front door damaged
-McKenzie Motors: awning damage
-Lifeguard Post 8: wall buckled and windows blown out
-Country View Lane: trailer turned on its side and another trailer with window and roof damage
-Pat Brown Road: damage to mobile home windows and doors, a brick wall at a residence collapsed and door blown open, and propane tank damage
