Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday for a Mobile man hurt when strong storms hit the Wal-Mart Supercenter July 3rd.

Family members say 62 year old John Lofton died Saturday.

Willie Lofton said his brother had just gone to the Wal-Mart to pick up food when the bad weather hit.

Lofton said his brother hit his head and suffered apparent brain damage.

He was taken to Mobile Infirmary.

During the time he was hospitalized, Willie Lofton said his brother "would move his head, blink his eyes, and he could mumble some.- He could say, 'I'm in pain,' like that you know, but that was just the first three days and after that, he became worse."

John Lofton leaves a wife and five daughters.
