Downtown Streets Under Water

Severe Weather Flood  The water was knee deep on Jefferson Avenue.

Downtown Mobile is notorious for flooding. But people who live on Jefferson Street are not used to it.

The street was knee deep in water after Saturday morning's heavy rain. A few people came out to take a look at the damage. Some children even took time to play in the swampy mess.

Neighbors say this is the first time they've seen something like this.
