Otis Broome says he had the worst weekend of his life. "It's been tough," says Broome. "Worst in 66 years. I'm more worried about my wife and my little girl, it's just been hard." Otis, his wife Jessica and their nine-year old girl were sleeping inside their camper trailer when Friday's severe weather ripped through Baldwin County. The storm tossed their home around like a toy!"And by the time you notice it, that freight train is there and everything is being sucked out of your house and you don't have time to think and then it goes away as quick as it came."
The Broome's trailer was no match for Mother Nature. The Red Cross has put the family up in a motel for two nights but after Wednesday, they won't have a place to live.
Call the Broome's at 205-907-0058 if you can help.
