to a tropical depression after soaking the Yucatan Peninsula, but
could still cause dangerous flooding and mudslides in Mexico,
Belize and Guatemala.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Belize and Mexico
have discontinued all warnings related to the first named storm of
the 2008 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

isolated amounts up to 15 inches possible.
Forecasters say Arthur's remnants should remain inland over
Mexico and stay well away from the U.S. Gulf Coast.
The Atlantic hurricane season officially starts today. Arthur
formed yesterday near the Belize-Mexico border.
