I spotted this waterspout trying to form this morning. It didn't reach the ground, but made it 2/3 the way down. It varied in thickness. It would be dark and thick, then would grow thinner. You could also see smaller clouds being pulled into the spout. The picture shows it towards the end. I didn't get my camera in time to catch it when it was closer and larger.
