This picture was taken 7/31/09 at 7:45 pm pointed due EAST. We were just wondering what caused this. Never seen anything like it.

Editors Note: This fanning out of light is called crepuscular rays. As described it would be opposite the direction of the sun as anticrepuscular rays. These form when distant clouds block light and allow it through only in spots, making the light appear as spotlights.
