I took this picture today, November 23, 2008, at 5:05 p.m. in Mary Knoll Place in West Mobile off Hillcrest Road near Cottage Hill. This is a beautiful but unusual cloud. What is the name of this cloud? (I have 7 more pictures if you need to see more). Sharon Criscione
Editor's note: The cloud in the center of the picture is an airplane condensation trail (contrail). It would have started as a crisp line but as the ice crystals fell they were blown in one direction, making it appear feathery.
