OZARK, Ala. (AP) - A Dale County sheriff's deputy has resignedafter he was accused of viewing pornographic material on a squad
car's computer.
Sheriff Wally Olson confirmed that Mike Roskum turned in his
resignation and admitted he viewed inappropriate material that was
not related to his work.
Roskum is now employed by the Newton Police Department.
Police Chief John Beistline said Roskum was not charged with any
wrongdoing and he is qualified to join the town's police force.

Yeah I read it but believe it or not it does not surprise me. I guess what actually does surprise me is that he resigned over it and the Sheriff thought it to be news worthy. I mean seriously this sounds like a personnel issue and those type things are not usually released to the public….. I guess it was a slow news day. Don’t get me wrong I don’t condone what he did but I don’t see where it was news worthy.
