New iPhone On Sale

Internet Cell Phone AT&T relents on iPhone pricing for upgraders.

NEW YORK (AP) - AT&T is cutting a little break to some of the people who have already bought iPhones. Under the deal, current
iPhone owners can upgrade to a new model at the same price that new buyers will get when the new device goes on sale tomorrow. AT&T has
taken some heat from iPhone owners who felt it was being ripped off on the new pricing structure.

Current owners would have to pay $399 for the least expensive version of the new iPhone 3G S. New buyers can purchase the phone for $199. AT&T heavily subsidizes the purchase price of the iPhone, and makes that money back through monthly service fees.

The iPhone 3G S features a faster processor, longer battery life and an auto-focusing camera.

Actually dougstech I am productive on my Blackberry and I also like to listen to music & play games on it too! Blackberry rocks.

Yeah, Apple users will pay huge prices so they can amaze themselves with silly stuff like watching movies on tiny 3 inch screens. Nobody gets a blackberry to play games, watch movies, or listen to $.99 songs. They get BlackBerries to be productive.

its truely an amazing device, the most “Dick tracey” of all the devices we were promised in the 60’s-80’s. its relapced my digital camera, internet access, calender, phone,pda just to name a few. there are a fwe things apple wont let you do, like tethering and mms messaging but they are working on it and should have those issues resolved by late summer. i am an original adopter, paid i think 770.00 for mine, generation 1 when they were not subsidized. might have been 670 i dont remember really. its the phone to have really. i cant transfer full movies to a blackberry and then play them over the tv in a hotel, nor can i download a whole movie and do the same. and a blackberry doesnt interface with itunes, the largest music and media provider in the world surpassing the old leaders wal mart and amazon. go steve jobs, go. more cash to debt on hand than microsoft.
