Blue Angels Practice at Pensacola Beach

It was just in the nick of time too. Dark clouds started rolling in from the west but the Blues got their practice in.
Precision flying at it's best but, practice makes perfect.
"The beach is probably the best show of all," says Ron Ketterling who watches the Blues practice every chance he gets.
For the first time in two years the Blue Angels were back practicing over Pensacola Beach for their weekend show. Sequestration canceled last years show and most of the season.
For almost an hour they screamed through the air at rocket speed. Barely missing each other at times. Flying in formation and alone.
"When they just coming flying over out of no where and you are looking out to the front and they come from behind, that was the best," says Shelia Luther visiting from Louisiana.
Fat Albert, the C-130 that is an important part of the weekend show and a crowd favorite is out of this weekend's show for repairs. The Blues putting an extra effort to make up for the loss.
All in all a great practice. We saw some new tricks. We saw some things we've never seen before from the Blue Angels all this practice and they will do it again tomorrow and the big show on Saturday.
