Facebook Leads To Burglary Arrest

Facebook Leads To Burglary Arrest

Posted: Updated:
Minnesota - Here's a story for the dumb criminals file. A man was arrested for burglary, all thanks to his own facebook page.
Police say Nicholas Wig checked his facebook profile while he was burglarizing a home in Minnesota. He checked his own profile page and forgot to log out. Police say the man stole credit cards, cash, a checkbook and a watch. The homeowner came home and noticed stuff missing. He then noticed a stranger's facebook page on his computer. The homeowner shared Nicholas Wig's photo and page and warned others to watch out. Wig texted the homeowner and decided to meet him. The accused thief apparently left his clothes and a phone at the house too. The homeowner called police and they arrested Wig. The suspected thief now faces ten years in prison.
