Mystery Engaged Couple Found on Facebook

Posted: Updated:
It all started with a trip to Seaside, Florida.

Photographer Heather Swanner was working on the beach last Friday, doing a photo-shoot with child clients.

"Their mom noticed that the couple behind us was getting engaged. She let us know, so she stopped shooting so we could watch them and of course instinctively I picked my camera up and got him proposing to her and she accepted," said Swanner.

Tae Cho had it all planned. His girlfriend's family was waiting behind sand dunes already snapping what pictures they could take. "They ran out from where they were hiding and when my mom got to us she said we saw a photographer taking pictures," said Lindsey Crouch.

"I noticed that they had their own cameras so I had assumed that they had gotten the shots that they has needed. So I decided to focus on my family and get their pictures done. There was a storm kinda rolling in," Swanner said.

"We got busy and the photographer left and we started taking our own pictures. We were bummed, but at that point we figured there was nothing we could do," said Cho.

So they were made do with what Crouch's mother shot on her iPhone. "If you zoom in on the iPhone you could kinda see us, but we really just thought that is what we had," Crouch said.

But on Monday, 3 days later, Swanner started editing her family photos and came across the couple's photos again.

"When I saw them I realized they really would probably want to have them," Swanner said.

So she posted the photos on her business' Facebook page asking her over 4 thousand fans to share, and they did, over 300 times. Two days later, "I got a call yesterday evening and my friend Marisha was like, you will never believe what I'm seeing on Facebook," Cho said.

"I looked at it and I was in shock and I started crying. I was in the middle of my friend's kitchen and I was like you guys look at this this is unbelievable. I was freaking out. I was so overjoyed. The shot was perfect," said Crouch.

Heather Swanner gave those photos as a gift for free. The couple plans to marry on September 27th.
