John Redman Moving To Rehab Center

DAPHNE, Alabama - Since April 28th John Redman's world has been turned upside down. He lost his fiance, Brittany, in a car crash days before their wedding. For weeks John was unresponsive, but now he's making progress.

"He's doing fantastic. He's going to be released from Shepherd Rehab Center tomorrow and then he's going to be admitted to their outpatient facility for the next 8 weeks," said his dad, Bo Redman.

A benefit golf tournament was held Thursday at Timber Creek Golf Course as dozens of golfers gathered to support and raise money for the Baldwin County native's medical bills.

"It's hard enough to do when you can financially afford everything, but when times are kind of tough it just makes it hard and for these guys to even think about it and put this together it just means so much to us, it's just incredible," said Redman.

The 23 year-old still has a long road ahead and he's just recently learned that the love of his life is no longer with him.

"It's just so tragic about Brittany we loved her so much and we were so looking forward to having her in our family. John is handling everything good and it's just really helping to have this outpouring of love and support. You can't put a price or a name on it because there just aren't words for it," he says.
