Mobile Police are asking for the public's assistance to locate a missing person.

Charles E. Jackson, 33, of Mobile went missing on Friday after sending out a text message stating "Help." He was reportedly walking to Citronelle to meet his girlfriend from the Moffett Road and Schillinger Road area.

The day before Jackson went missing, police say he and a family member got into a verbal altercation. Since Friday, Jackson has not used his phone nor been seen.

Jackson, who goes by the nickname "Bubba," is described as 5'8 and 165 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both arms with "Laugh Now" on one arm and "Cry Later" on the other. The number 13 can be found on his right wrist and flames on his left arm.
