Family's Son Arrested for Arson after House Burns

Posted: Updated:
Mobile, AL - A family in Mobile is homeless after their home went up in flames Sunday morning.

Their son, 25-year-old Tamarcus Martin was arrested and charged with Arson First Degree. No more details about the arrest have been released.

The house, on Forest Ridge Road, has damaged estimated around $30,000. Family members say everything inside is a total loss.

Luckily the couple whose house burned is part of a big family, and will be able to live with family members until they can get back to normal.

For now, though, they are asking for any kinds of donations to help them get through this devastating event.

If you'd like to help, call Kimberly Smallwood at 251-776-4804.
