Coast Guard Searching for Missing Fisherman

The Coast Guard is searching for a missing fisherman. At 6:30 Thursday evening Coast Guard Mobile got a call reporting a crew member on a fishing boat fell overboard 58 miles south of Mobile Bay.

35 year old Benjamin Sorrells was reportedly leaning over side of the vessel when he slipped overboard. He was wearing blue jeans without a life jacket.

The crew of the AC III attempted to rescue Sorrells. Coast Guard rescue crews will continue to search throughout the night. News 5 will udate this story as details are made available.
