LILLIAN, Alabama -

A potentially dangerous situation has been discovered at a wastewater treatment plant in Lillian.

Crews with Baldwin County Sewer Service have detected high levels of chemicals used to make meth.

The company believes people are dumping the remnants of active meth labs down toilets, drains and manholes.

The chemicals could cause groundwater contamination and other environmental hazards.

BCSS has asked the sheriff's office to investigate. The company is offering a 500 dollar reward to anyone who can give them a solid lead in the investigation.
