Breaking and Entering Incident Leaves 1 Dead

MOBILE, Ala. -

Mobile Police are investigating a homicide that took place February 22 just before 2:00 a.m.

It happened at the 1200 block of Fearn Court where police responded to a report of a burglary in process and one shot.

When police arrived, they found 26-year-old Anthony Carstarphen had been shot and killed. He was trying to force his way into the residence when he was shot.

Police say the man and woman who lived in the home were questioned about the incident. No arrests were made, and the case will be presented to the Grand Jury.
