Mobile Police have arrested a man involved in several burglaries.

Police say the burglaries happened at different homes on Government Street, Azalea Road and Demotropolis Road.

29-year-old Daniel Roy Diaz was arrested after a search warrant led to a big stash of jewelry and watches. Police also recovered electronics, computers, and camera equipment.

Diaz has been charge with Burglary Third Degree, Receiving Stolen Property Third Degree and Illegal Possession of a Prescription. More charges are expected for Diaz, as well as more arrests of others involved in the burglaries.

Police have been able to return most of the stolen items to the victims of the burglaries. However, police are asking citizens who live in the Government Street, Azalea Road and Demetropolis Road areas who may have been burglarized since October 2013 to call (251) 208-7211.

Anyone with information in regards to these burglaries is also asked to call Mobile Police.
