Terminated School Principal Drops Bombshell Allegations

Terminated School Principal Drops Bombshell Allegations

ORANGE BEACH, Alabama -

Lori Brocato is no longer the principal at Orange Beach Elementary.

On Thursday, the school board upheld Supt. Dr. Alan Lee's recommendation to terminate Brocato and voted unanimously to cancel her contract.

In a two-page letter obtained by News 5, Lee states Brocato was let go because of incompetence and neglect of duty.

Before leaving the hearing, Brocato approached board members and dropped a bombshell.

Brocato says the real reason she was terminated was because she refused alleged sexual advances made by Lee.

Lee would not comment on camera, but denies the allegations.

A school spokesperson says the district will hire an outside agency and conduct an independent investigation.
